A flat structure makes the rows, at last, less in vision to the lecturer’s periphery, which diverts attention span. The same thing becomes much more comprehensive when the design is carved in a semi-circular fashion because noise travels in a semi-circular flow. The classrooms at GU can afford 120 students at a time. There are speakers and mic settings for zero speech hindrances and maximum reach with less strain on the throat. There is a Wi-fi facility for a network-enabled class. Also, there are intelligent screens and projector-enabled classes which focus on proper screencasting and digital learning.

Laboratories : Practical exposure is very important in everything, especially studies. A cycle cannot be ridden with mere theoretical concepts. Practical exposure is essential. Thus, GU provides practical exposure in all its formats with well-equipped laboratories, modern equipment, research places and the latest technological advancements to provide the best learning output.

Library : An age-old saying goes like this, “A good library is where there is something for everyone.” GU has made a state-of-the-art library stocking not just physical books but also digital copies of the books, CDs, DVDs, recorded lectures, newspapers, research publications, journals, monographs, documentaries, movies, lab reports, research reports, music library, training videos, bloopers and a lot more than a standard library can store and a lot more that can be a knowledge source to the public at large.

Hostel Facilities at Glocal University

At Glocal University campus, there are separate hostels for males and females. 

• These hostels are completely secured, and there is no possibility of trespassing or any other security breach at the campus hostels. 
• The rooms are fully furnished with beds, bedside tables, chairs, boards, cupboards and space for hanging clothes. The rooms are made in comfortable apartments, making living happy and easy. 
• The washrooms and bathing cells are made in such a way that there is no water clogging. 
• Provision of waste management, water management and other resources is also available. 
• Each hostel has a reading room, sports rooms, mess/ canteen and general common room.

Medical Facilities at Glocal University

The presence of a medical school at GU is a great help. Along with the same, there is a class 300 multi-bed facility, with specialisation in general medicine, MRI, ICU, Trauma Centre, X-Ray and other common problems. 

• There is a dedicated medical centre managed not just by staff but also by the teachers of medicine and the students of medicine. 
• All the work is done ground-up by these people, making for a proper dedicated system to take care of illnesses and ailments at the campus.

Additional Facilities at Glocal University

Transport Facilities: Glocal University’s transport busses have comfortable seats that run from the city within the city areas and outside. These routes include connectivity to the road, which leads to Uttarakhand or Chandigarh. Students can opt-in for the bus services to join the college from different parts of the city and the outskirts, if they want, they can hire private vehicles or public transport. GU wants to cover all the bases to comfort its students in every domain they wish to tap and hold comfortable hands in.

With an FSSAI standard of cleanliness maintained in the kitchens, the food prepared in the canteens and mess of Glocal University is of optimum quality. It is good to serve and eat for a hygienic growth and maintenance of a person. 

Transport System of Glocal University

Students who cannot afford costly seated hostels and want accommodation outside can avail the Glocal University transport system and save their energy of drop-transporting from multi-stops. Also, the day scholars, who are residents of Saharanpur, outside the campus of the university , can use the university’s transportation system to commute to their hostels.

Glocal University is associated with multiple projects like Generation of Somatic Hybrids of Gold Rush, Identification of Novel Pharmaceuticals, Dacarbazine Nanoparticle Topical Delivery System, Quantification and Identification of Bioactive Eugenol in Myristica Fragrans Seed Using Validated High-Performance Thin Grade Chromatography Technique and the likes. GU supports all its projects and research work to create a knowledge base for every stakeholder of the University.
